aeropress BREW GUIDE
Born in 2005 from the mind of Alan Adler, Aeropress is maybe the youngest coffee extraction method. It is composed by a cylindrical section with two filters - one in plastic and a disposable paper one - plus a second section with a rubbery seal useful for the pressure to push during the extraction.

STEP 1
Heat the water between 92°C – 96°C degrees.

STEP 2
Insert the paper filter into the plastic filter holder.

STEP 3
Wet the coffee filter with hot water.

STEP 4
Install the filter at the bottom of the Aeropress.

STEP 5
Pour ground coffee inside the Aeropress.

STEP 6
Fill the Aeropress with 200g of hot water.

STEP 7
Insert the piston a few centimeters inside the Aeropress and slightly pull it out to create a depression that doesn't allow coffee to fall into the cup.

STEP 8
Wait 1 minute and 30 seconds and then mix the beverage.

STEP 9
Insert the piston again and press to extract the coffee.

STEP 10
Extract the coffee directly in the drinking cup and serve it.

SYRINGE - LIKE METHOD
Aeropress works as a big syringe, coffee is laid to infuse and then extracted with the necessary pressure.

TWO METHODS ONE TOOl
The first with the filter facing down allowing the coffee to percolate. The second, called inverted, requires to be infused by turning the instrument with the filter upwards
