french press BREW GUIDE
Almost unchanged from the time of its invention, the system for "filtering coffee by piston" was patented in France in 1852 by Meyer and Delforge, a goldsmith and a merchant. The system consists of a Pyrex glass cylindrical jug- or of another resistant material - and a lid equipped with a plunger that ends with a filter.

"CAFETIÈRE À PISTON", AN UNIQUE DESIGN
Two Italians contributed to its making: Attilio Calimani who in 1931 updated the french press with a newer version and Bruno Cassol who worked on this project and added Pirex glass and a metallic- net filter.

COFFEE INFUSION, QUICK AND SIMPLE
